Lowe's Grocery Store

To put it bluntly this is a joke of a grocery store. Be careful to look at expiration dates a lot of the food is expired and they leave it there on purpose in hopes of someone buying it then not complaining about it. There was a suposed deal between the city and the owner of Lowe's to keep all other grocery stores out of town so there would be no competition for them. The employee's will watch you bag your own grocery's and do nothing. The price's are massively high due to the monopoly they have. Sewer gas vents in the front of the store so there is always a smell in the front of the store. Just another corporate issue of greed and grinding on those who don't have another choice. The city politicians and the corporate raiders need to be held accountable.

I HAVE AN ELDERLY FRIEND THAT USED TO SHOP IN THIS STORE, SHE COULD ALWAYS COUNT ON GETTING HELP TO FIND HER GROCERIES, AS SHE CAN'T SEE VERY WELL. THE LAST TIME SHE WENT IN THERE, SHE WAS TOLD THAT THE SPECIFIC PERSON THAT ALWAYS HELPED HER COULD NOT. HER JOB WAS A BAGGER AND THAT WAS WHAT SHE WAS PAID FOR. MY FRIEND ALWAYS TIPPED HER TO HELP HER. WHEN SHE WENT TO MANAGEMENT AND ASKED IF THIS PERSON COULD HELP HER, THEY WERE RUDE AND SAID SHE WAS A BAGGER AND THAT IS ALL SHE IS PAID TO DO. I REALIZE THAT THIS IS WHAT HER JOB IS, BUT SINCE THIS IS A SMALL TOWN, HELPING ONE OR TWO ELDERLY PEOPLE ONCE IN AWHILE TO GET THEIR GROCERIES SURELY WOULD BE A GOOD JESTURE ON THE PART OF THE STORE. ALOT OF THE ELDERLY PEOPLE ONLY COME IN ONCE IN A WHILE AND A LITTLE HELP WOULDN'T HURT ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO TAKE SOME CLASSES IN BEING PUBLIC FRIENDLY. INSTEAD OF BEING RUDE TO OLDER PEOPLE.
