Squeeze In

A small, very friendly, extremely informal restaurant with great food and moderate prices. They are open only for breakfast and lunch and what they do, they do well. We were there on a Sunday in September, so the crowd would have included tourists, but not many, and the place was packed. My lunch companions ordered omelets with fried potatoes. They all ate with gusto but none were able to finish their food. I ordered an Uncle Fester sandwich, a triple decker turkey avocado cream cheese structure best attacked layer by layer. It was very good and came with an excellent full-sized salad.

We were meeting long lost friends and although we stayed at their table for two hours, never felt rushed. The tab for four people with a decent tip came to about fifty dollars. Highly recommended.
