i.e., A local We've been having car problems and the mechanic thought that it might be our transmission or one of the sensors that send info to the transmission. We were worried about the cost. We were so excited when Larry called and said that rather than the transmission it was just a sensor and a rather cheap fix. They are always honest and fair. I'm really thankful for an honest mechanic like we found at Troy Tire Center in Troy! I would recommend them to anyone!!, or highly favorite because

Best place in town - fair prices and above all, honest people who will go out of their way to fix what needs to be done. Also they EXPLAIN what they are doing and why. Toyota dealership told me I had $600 plus needed repairs. Took it to Larry and crew. There wasn't even anything wrong with my vehicle and they SHOWED me the parts in question. Friendly, polite and honest. Who could ask for more?

-50 HORRIBLE If there was an option to rate them with a negative star then I would give them a negative star it would be a negative-50. They are uneducated. Case and point: I was impatient, and my regular mechanic was sick. I needed new U joints pressed into my drive shaft. I called TROY TIRE. I spoke with LARRY. Larry informed me that the shop would have no problem with doing it and could get it done that morning. When I dropped it off I was then told that it wouldnt be " gotten around to" til later that afternoon. I was frustrated to say the least. I left my things there. With in an hour of leaving TROY TIRE. I received a phone call from the shop they told me that the U joints were the wrong size. I then had to make another trip back. The U joints were the corrrct size. I was so upset and confused I took my driveshaft to my regular mechanic. I was then informed by my regular mech. that these reason TROY TIRE couldn't get the U joint in was that when TROY TIRE removed the original that they removed it incorrectly and warped the drivshaft. Needless to say i got it fixed. I called TROY TIRE to tell them what happened so they could educate who ever on proper t removal. I WAS ACCUSED OF LYING. I WAS TOLD I DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING. I WAS WRONG. THAT MY MECHANIC WAS AN IDIOT. AND THAT I WAS TRYING TO SCAM THEM FOR MONEY. I am sick and disgusted as to how I was treated. I didnt even get an apology. I will never go there again nor would recommend them to anyone EVER. I wouldnt go there if they were giving away money.

I had the front end alignment done on my 1997 GMC p/u truck, I installed the components and the guys at troy tire center set everything to torque specs and done a great job on the alignment and the price was very good. The truck handles like new again. Well done troy tire center. Respectfully Tracey Luck

I have used them numerous times and always received excellent service. Larry takes very good care of customers. Always fair pricing. If they can't fix it, suggests places that can fix and who to contact. They really go the extra mile!

When I got my car back, I noticed that the driver seat had grease marks on it that were not there when I dropped it off. Also, the repair took 2 hours longer than we were told it would take.
