D & D Used Appliances

Purchased a used Hotpoint washer for $185. It was delivered to the front steps of my home. Loaded the first load of wash and started the cycle. Water all over the floor, unit was defective. Called and was told it was sold "as in" however they would repair it if I delivered it back to the store. Conclusion - I could waste my time and possibly be returning this washer constantly for repairs. I decided to eat the money and save my sanity; they came and picked it up and I'm sure sold it to some other poor soul. I went to Lowes and purchased a new unit. Lesson learned - they just get these units from anywhere and put them into their showroom, do not perform any kind of testing for functionality. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS BUSINESS. The warranty is reasonably if you want to gamble the unit will spend 85 days of it's warranty either being transported or being repaired at their facilities.

In the market for a refridgerator for a rental, stopped in here on a Saturday, first the lady behind the counter did acknowledge me but that was it, never asked if she could help me find what im looking for, questions etc. I realize these are used but really? Some of them looked like they went down a flight of stairs, broken handles or no handles, one had a ton of dust or cat hair at the bottom vent, they don't even bother to clean them it looks like, and they still wanted $295 for that, no thanks.
