Calling Cards Unlimited

I went to Calling Cards Unlimited because my sister got beautiful invitations from there. I went for a 50% off sale at the end of the year. I was very surprised when my total (with 50% off) was over $800! They told me that the 50% off doesn't cover pocket invitations, but didn't mention that to me when I said that's what I was looking for.

Rhonda was EXTREMELY pushy, and very unprofessional. She was the person I did most of the dealings with. I bought my invitations in December 2012 and needed to get them out by mid-March 2013. She kept scolding me saying, "you're MAY, honey. we've gotta get going on you. I don't want to worry about you"

When picking out the wording for the pocket invitations, some of the things that I liked she was very rude about, acting completely shocked that ANYONE would like such things.

One of my cards in the pocket of my invitation was a card meant for a map or directions. Since I have people coming from all over WNY, I didn't think that directions would suffice, so I wanted to do a map. Rhonda kept telling me that no one does a map, and no one likes maps. I emailed my first map to her.

When my first set of proofs came in, my fiance's name wasn't even on it!!!! They completely forgot to put it on there. The map came out all blurry, and we thought that the one we sent in was too small. She kept telling me "you're MAY honey, you've got to get going on this" and I sent in my second map.

When my second set of proofs came in, my fiance's name was on it (hooray!) however the map was STILL off. I had to create and send in a third map.

When my THIRD set of proofs came in the map was still not coming in right. This is when Rhonda FINALLY tells me that there is a set size that I have to send the map in. She had NEVER mentioned this before, but she did mention again that since I'm "May, honey" that I needed to get going. My fiance created a fourth map and I sent it in.

Our FOURTH set of proofs came back and the map STILL wasn't clear or anything. I couldn't believe it since we sent in the appropriate size. I called and spoke with Rochelle, who owns the business, and was VERY helpful. I absolutely love her. She told me that the best way to do a map is to actually print out a copy that we made on the computer on a full sheet of computer paper and go over the lines of the streets in permanent marker. It would have been nice to know that in the first place.

Finally my fifth set of proofs were good and I ordered them to be made, but I was livid that Rhonda kept scolding me for taking so long when it was her fault that things were going wrong in the first place.

I told Rochelle my feeling about my invitation process and she was very helpful. She said that she would talk to her and offered me free Thank You cards.

Rochelle is the ONLY good part of that business. If you DO decide to go with Calling Cards Unlimited, make sure you work with Rochelle from the start.
