Beauty Bar

have had 2 facials from Kellie @ beauty bar - both times I had an excellent experience. Waiting area for the spa area is decorated in relaxing colors and accessories, quiet - away from the hustle & bustle of the main reception area - they water available for customers. The spa room is quiet, perfect temperature (plus heated table), low lighting, low background music that adds to the ambience. I have rather sensitive skin and the products didn't cause any undo redness. Service is great - they offer guidance and suggestions on products, but are not overly pushy. I especialy like the fact that they sample their skin care products so I can try them out before buying. Am looking forward to trying the shirodhara or hot stone massage.



Jen has cut/styled my hair - she listened to my suggestions, asked questions to be sure we were on the same page. To say I'm pleased with the results is an understatement, have lost count of the compliments I received. Again, products were suggested - a couple of which I did purchase - but Jenny wasn't pushy by any means.



All 3 visits to BB have been very positive - am looking forward to my next visit.

Do not waste your money on the hype. It is dirty inside the building, the staff acts like its more of a party for themselves than focusing on the customer and I spent an outrageous amount of money on hair color (I asked for the highest rated stylest) only for her to give me a spoty faded unprofessional style that looked cheaper than a box color. I was an easy sell and gave her a second and third chance and she obviously did not care like the rest of the staff and dirty floor, dirty bathroom and dirty service area. The eye brown waxing and spa services are not much better. Save your money and time and go to Reve in Sylvania.

I've been going to Beauty Bar for three years now and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT! I've had services done by just about everyone there but my regulars are, Jen for my hair & TJ for my mani's & pedi's. The only negative thing is sometimes it's difficult to get in last minute.

Worst highlights EVER! I walked out of this salon embarrased. My highlights looked terrible and the overall finished look was a mess.

I love the Beauty Bar! They have great stylists. My favorite is Kelsey, she does a great job! They offer many other services and they have very nice makeup selection!

My experience with the Beauty Bar has been FANTASTIC.......and I've been going there since 2002!!! I used to go to other high end salons in the area and some were very nice but since switching to the Beauty Bar I have never turned back!!! The service is always excellent and I am always very pleased with the technicians who do my hair, my manicures, and my pedicures. I can't comment on the spa services because I don't go to the spa but I know people who absolutely LOVE them. I get many compliments on my hair and it looks great, if I do say so myself!!! lol

Also, the salon is so pretty....I feel like I am really treating myself special whenever I go. I LOVE THE BEAUTY BAR!!!!

Manacurist literally cut up two of my fingers. Had to apply nail glue just to get bleeding to stop. They didn't offer to give me another nail tech and told me afterwards she was a new-er person. Nails look terrible now. The polish began chipping off later that day. Fingers are looking infected now. Burns to apply water or anything. Cuticle area inflamed to point where I may have to see a doctor. They are sending me a certificate for another manicure from a more experienced tech. Unfortunately if my nails worsen I may be sending them my doctor bill.....
