We went there for mother day. I WILL NOT GO BACK AGAIN. Food had no flavor, greasy, and nothing if you wanted to have a salad. They jacked up the price for Mother Day to almost $17.00 per person. As we were leaving I felt like I was going to through up..

DON'T GO HERE!! The food is not that great. Nothing is labeled, so you don't know what you're eating. It is overpriced in my opinion. They charge an additional 10% surcharge. For what I don't know, no one comes by frequently and refills your drink or clears your plates. I would give this place no stars if I could. They suck!!

I ate here on 19 march 2012, I...

I ate here on 19 march 2012, I found it to be exactly what you expect, its a chinese buffet, not a fancy resteraunt, the food had a wide variety from shell fish, noodles, sushi and a guy who fries the food up in front of you. it was decently priced ... id say there is something there for everyone. so of course they didnt come by and ask how the food was. This is the kind of place where you can show up in flanels, be your self, pay a minimum amount of money and eat a wide spectrutsm of foods. so in closing... its a chinese buffet...if you dont need fancy and just want to pig out with friends its perfect. I also found there was not a long wait for food and the decore did in fact reflect chinese food !

The Worst EVER

So I found this restaurant on yellowpages.com, while searching for Chinese Buffet. I read some of the reviews and decided since it was rated 4.5 stars that we would try it out. Firstly, however tummy the food was, there were hardly any labels so it was kind of scary not knowing what you were putting on your plate. Secondly, we were never asked how our meal was or offered refills on our beverages. From the looks of it, there was only one waitress and one guy who helped clear the tables. The food tasted all right; we've had worse and we've had better. But I'm going to mention, one of the reviews I read said that the customers had to use the restroom as soon as they got home. We didn't even make it out of the restaurant before feeling sick. I can honestly say, we will NEVE come back to this place again! If no stars were an option, it would be more fitting.

I have been going there since they first opened and I have never had a bad meal. The mongolian BBQ is the best. I have had many other in Taiwan and this is still number 1 to me

Great food great wall

I've drove past this place several times, not a big fan of Chinese food buffets I always feel like you get ripped off. Great wall is one of a kind between the all you can eat crab to the mongloian style stir fry everything was good hot and fresh. Definitely a must go.

I love this place! The food is good and well above what I expect from a buffet, puts Country Buffet to shame. The staff is constantly working the line making sure everything is fresh, stocked, and cleaning up where needed. They have a mixture of dishes and not everything is deep fried. They have a basic salad bar, typical chineese offerings, baked sole (which is to die for), a mongolian grill with many options, a dessert bar (limited), baked chicken on skewers (a must try), two soups to choose from, lots of seafood (saturday - lobster/crab). The sushi bar I personally don't know.... don't care for sushi, but my nephew says it's really good. The price is fair for what you get, I usually go for lunch and pay around $18 for 2 people includes our drinks. The staff is what really makes this place, they are very efficient, they don't hover over you but they do make sure you are taken care of (ie.. make sure drinks are full etc..).

Best Chinese Restraunt in Washington

I have been to hundreds of asian restraunts and buffets in my 46 years. I seek the best flavors, the best choices on the menu, and the best quanitity for the dollar. There are over 50 items to choose from. From hot table cooked items you choose, to the many items on the hot buffet area all the way to the cold buffet tables where you can fill your tummy with the best sushi all the way to the freshest fruits and cakes. When you think you are done, there is the icecream vending machine for chocolate/vanilla swirl or which one you like. The service and specialties are very well and as soon as your plate is empty they are there to remove it promptly. I rate Great Wall Chinese Buffet as #1 place to go. I was so confident that I took my mother, wife and girlfriend to The Great Wall Chinese Buffet for Valentines Day this year. My mother is 80 years old and she too was very impressed with the foods as well as my wife and girlfriend. As for a romantic place to take a date, the decor is lacking as well as the privacy. The background music does not fit the Chinese culture as I would want because sometimes I have heard country in the overhead speakers. This is not a place to try to put a wedding ring on a girls finger. As for a place to feed youreself and the family, it rates #1 all the way. I am hoping they will soon update the decor, music and enlarge this restraunt so there is a seperate dining area that is cozy for the wedding proposal.

This place was recommended by a local. It was horrible. The selection of food was terrible for a buffet my husband was throughly disgusted.

Great Chinese Buffet

I was TDY to WA and my hotel (Hampton) was right next door. The food was great for the about $15 price. I had so many crabs.... 2-3lbs easy every meal (2-3lbs shell meat). Nice place to set, eat, and get out in less than 15-30min. Of the 2 months I ate here 2-4 times every week.

We've been going here for years, and while things change now and then, it's never been *bad*. I think the other reviewer might have the wrong place. It's always busy for lunch or dinner, the food is fresh and hot with many selections. No, it's not the best, but most of the staff are friendly and attentive (most---there have been a few who were less than stellar to put it nicely), and you can get Mongolian-style bbq in addition to the buffet selections. It's not as good as King's Wok in Puyallup (love!), but better than many.

Great Food!

This was exceptional. The many choices and freshness makes this a great place for the budget. The environment was clean and the staff friendly. The buffet was continually stocked with fresh food. The variety was great and satisfied our pickiest eater. I will go back for seconds, thirds and more. It is definitely one of the better buffets I have had the pleasure of dining.

I have been going to this resturant since is was about 5 yrs old with my family and still yrs later seem to go back for the fantastic food. I have been to several Chinese resturants and nothing compares to the Great Wall's food and customer service. Thanks to all for there hard work! I would realy recomend any person who loves Chinese to check it out.

The stepchild of a below average casino

My food was cold and greasy, the service was slow and surly and as far as I could tell, I was the only diner.
