Overall

a hidden gem

Everything I've had here, and that's a lot, has been great. They also have a cool little bar and a good selection of beer.

Good Italian Food

I have been to Caruso's twice now... Both experiences were positive. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff are friendly. Despite being a rather busy place on a Friday night, there are no delays or problems with service. The food is excellent. So far, I have only had the spaghetti and meatballs and manicotti. The marinara sauce is sweet and light, a perfect blend. The manicotti was baked to perfection, not burned on the edges like other places. I can't wait to try more items on the menu. There is also a bar with live lounge music if you just want to hang out and have a drink. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

There are not very many restaurants in Sylmar-so thank goodness for Caruso's. Good food at good prices.
