Johnson's Roadside Farm Market

Johnson's farm is fantastic- they have amazing homemade pies (don't listen to the other guy, his story sounds fake). The food is consistently fresh, they have fantastic produce and other organic foods, and their baked goods are absolutely fantastic. The staff is always amiable and respectful- you can't help but get to know them. If you want to try something out there, I would recommend their amazing muffins. We have been regulars for several years now, and we eagerly await their spring opening every year. 10/10, with no doubt in my mind that it is the best farmer's market in warren, and in our (humble) opinion, the world :)

Everyone raves about their "Home made pies". Well I was in there once and the back door was open. I saw them taking these pies out of the freezer, in a box called Chief Pierre. When I asked about the pies, they said that they were baked on the premises. And did not elaborate on the home made part, when I asked again if they were frozen, manufactured pies, they got all huffy. Seems to me that they have everyone fooled into thinking they are made from scratch. If you don't believe me then ask them for yourself, they will say they are baked there, which is not a lie, but they don't make them. Seems like shoddy business practice to me. What else are they not telling the whole truth about.
