        Bears Best is a good option for public golf in the Atlanta area. The course and greens are kept in good condition and repair -- definitely better than most of the public golf courses. The course replicates holes from many of the courses designed by Jack Nicklaus. The par 3's featuring water hazards are particularly challenging so make sure you have an extra sleeve of golf balls.

        Located in the upscale gated community of Edinburgh, Bear’s Best Atlanta is a high-end daily fee course focused on corporate entertaining, golf outings and providing the experience of a luxurious private club at a public facility. Jack Nicklaus chose 18 of his best designs for this course.
