Blackjack's Towing and Recovery

Our almost new Hyundai engine exploded on I 26 outside of Summerville . AAA Sent blackjack towing. Dave, The driver, was exceptional. He was professional, helpful, friendly, concerned for our safety, and gave us good advice. We highly recommend blackjack towing.

Had to call four times before a lady answered. I gave as much info as possible and no follow up questions were asked from dispatcher after realizing later that more information would have been needed. She seemed uninterested in sending someone out but told me she would. No truck ever showed up and no follow up call was received. Would have never called if my complex didn't have an agreement with them. Not worth the trouble. Pay a professional company.

Very nice lady answered the phone. Very helpful and sympathetic to our situation. Tried her best to get a tow truck to us quickly on a very busy day. We were in the middle of nowhere. She stayed in contact, giving us updates. As luck would have it, our car decided to start. She was very nice even when we had to cancel the service. Would recommend based on my experience.

This company is working with Somerset apartments to tow cars that are owned by residents.



We moved in a month ago and within 24hrs of turning in our temporary car pass and getting a permanent one we, and several others, were towed.



The tow driver has been the driver who has always did rounds in Somerset and there has always been a pass in my car. They know this and I watched them walk to each car and inspect the passes. So they know which cars are residents.



Seems fishy that Somerset would neglect a renewal parking pass and the next day residents cars are getting towed. Seems like these 2 companies are wring with each other.



Customer service is a joke and they automatically act like your scum.



Stay clear of this tow company.

They noticeably damaged my car while unlocking it with no regard. When I called I was told that I signed a waiver and to deal with it and that the owner would call me back, which never happened. It would have been nice if I would have been warned about the type and severity of damage before hand.

My car was stranded on Rivers Ave. I called State Farm's Roadside Assistance, and the first towing company took forever to get there. When the guy finally showed up, he said he couldn't do it with his type of towing vehicle and would have to come back. After waiting even longer, he never came back, and the nasty lady on the phone told me they wouldn't be able to do it, and I would have to call my insurance company. Angry and flustered, I called State Farm again, and they sent these guys. Not only was he there within ten minutes, but he didn't charge me since the place I wanted to take it to was literally only a mile over what State Farm's roadside assistance would cover. Real nice guy and refreshing after having a frustrating night.
