I had a simple fault- one outlet was dead. I explained on the phone that I already had checked other outlets, GFAs and breakers and nothing seemed wrong. The electrician on the phone explained that they work to a standard of ethics that considers the customer. He went on to say that in this situation, it is typically a wall switch that may not be regularly used that could be the cause. So, naturally, it was and I saved myself a call out fee and labor charges. They had the choice to come and check my house in case of wiring faults etc, but chose to troubleshoot for free. 5 Stars for being solid people!

I greatly appreciate the help provided by Shauwn. If it was with any other electrician, I would have paid hundreds of dollars. But Shauwn asked me about the problem and over the phone he instructed me how to fix an issue I faced. I recommend him for his skills in identifying issues and fixing them. Also I liked the fact that Absolute electric charge their customers only by the time spent to fix the issue and so customers can save a lot comparing to other fixed price quotes. - Mani.

My wife & I had Shaun Collins install recessed lighting throughout our home's finished basement about 6-7 years ago. Shaun personally did all the work- he was professional, polite, on time, and did great work. He listened to what we wanted, made good technical and aesthetic recommendations, and made sure we were happy with the finished product. The only thing we've had to do in all the years afterwards was change an occassional old bulb. More recently, we used Absolute Electric to install ceiling fans in our upstairs bedrooms. Shaun sent out 2 great workers who also did great work- his electricians were good workers, punctual, cleaned up, respectful. We completely trust Shaun for all of our electric-work needs.

The Best!! Shawn tried to troubleshoot over the phone and sent a technician out the next day. They found the problem timely and didn't waste anytime. Fixed the problem and moved out. All the while friendly at the same time!!!! Very fair pricing too!!!Very Very Happy with their service.

Got my attic fan replaced this morning. Johnny and his assistant were on time. They were professional, friendly and very courteous. They cleaned up their mess and removed their shoes when they entered my home. Will recommend these guys to anyone.

Absolute Electric is a great company to call if you have an electrical issue requiring prompt and professional attention. Based on the online reviews I read about Absolute Electric, I contracted with them to troubleshoot an electrical problem in our home that my husband and I could not solve. Shauwn was at our house within 48 hours, and worked at the speed of light with his assistants to troubleshoot and diagnose the trouble in well under an hour. I was expecting two or possibly three hours of work (and associated charges!), but Shauwn managed to get us up and running again with all our circuits restored within the hour. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to use him again for electrical work around the house. These guys are fantastic. We couldn't get our outdoor plugs to work. When we called them on the phone, they told us how to troubleshoot the problem ourselves. Turns out it was a minor problem that was solved in a minute. A less reputable electrician would have came over, poked around while knowing what the problem was beforehand and charged 150 bucks. Thanks Absolute Electric for being so HONEST and HELPFUL; a rare quality in contractors these days!

Just experienced a minor eletrical problem during a FIOS installation. I found Absolute on the web and gave them a call. Shawn was here within a half hour, explained what happened, and fixed the problem. The repair could not have gone better. I highly recommend them and will use Absolute for all my electrical work in the future.

I put in a request for an electrician to install a fan and to move an outlet. Shauwn called to inquire about the job and to provide a quote. I agreed to have him provide the service. What a pleasant experience. He is very knowledgeable and wants to make the customer happy. He did great work and I am going to have him to another job for us soon.

You never know what to expect when a contractor walks into your home. I always worry I will be price gaudged!
