The WORST! The law allows doctors to choose whether to write a 1-year prescription or a 2-year prescription for contact lenses. They absolutely refuse to write a 2-year prescription -- even though my insurance only covers office visits every other year.



They obviously just want to juice the patient every year - even if the patient has to pay 100% out of pocket. I told them that I could not afford to pay for unnecessary visits and I'd have to change doctors if they would not write a longer prescription (like every other doctor I've gone to in the past). I asked to speak with the doctor, but he refused to even speak with me.



They made no attempt to work with me or to keep me as a patient. In fact, the receptionist just yelled at me and hung up.



Poor business to say the least. Obviously, I'm not paying out of pocket to go to a greedy, insensitive, and unhelpful doctor with dingy offices and an unpleasant receptionist.



Obviously, I'm not alone since every review of this place is negative.



This is your spot if you like overpaying, rude treatment, and dank dingy offices.

Front desk has an attitude

The doctors were all nice, but the front desk is horrible, they answer the phone very rude, they will answer back to you rude. They are full of mistakes and are horrible to deal with. If you are looking for professional customer service and want answers and normal tasks done by the front desk, this is not the place for you.



I went there to get an exam. I wanted to know how much this process would cost me in the end without contacts. They told me that I would owe $100.00 when I asked them after insurance, I was then hit with another $120.00 bill a month later. I called to ask them about it and they told me that is just a regular charge that they did not need to inform me about b/c it is standard. This was a major mistake.



Its like taking your car to the mechanic, you bring it to fix the steering. They tell you it is $200.00, you pay and leave with the fixed car. Then a month later you get the bill for another $100.00. You call and they said that is a standard fee for the hoses, clamps, wiring and fluid. You then have to pay up.



Remember, the front desk represents the Doctors and should be professional.



If I knew, I would've picked another eye center. I just happened to pick this one out of the yellowpages.



Do yourself a favor and go to another place.

Watch out for these people. Unfriendly receptionist (Its not her job to know anything about insurance; it's the patient's). Lecturing, condescending, incompetent Dr. Value profit and sales before patients. Not sure I got the right prescriptions. Hidden charges. Prescription screwed up. Not seeing well with "new" prescription.
