Carrabba's Italian Grill

Fantastic food. However, the wait and service is horrendous. They offer "call ahead" seating which is ridiculous and insulting. The "convenience" of the ingenious call ahead seating is that is minimizes your wait. So, rather than waiting an hour to be seated, you only wait forty minutes instead; how convenient. However, you can only call ahead a half hour in advance. I always call and ask for a booth,which makes the wait longer. I don't mind considering their tables are practically layered on top of one another. Without fail, everytime I wait longer for a booth, I'm seated at a table. Having been a waiter I can tell you it has nothing to do with limited booth availability, but rather the waiters getting disgruntled over not getting enough customers in their section, which results in less tips for them. So, you, the guest, can't get what you want, and WAITED for, because the waiters are bickering in the back over other waiters getting more customers in their section. Simply asinine.

I have eaten at many Carrabbas restaurants. They have all been outstanding and consistent. Great Italian food at reasonable prices. They have the best marsala sauce I have ever tasted. The pasta dishes with red sauce are excellent. Anything from the grill is good. Share the "Chocolate Dream" desert with a friend (a chocolate lovers delight). Crowded on Friday and Saturday night. Try sitting at the chef's bar where you can see the food being prepared right in front of you and talk to the chefs (not romantic, but interesting, best on a busy night). Everyone I have ever taken to a Carrabbas restaurant has enjoyed the food and wanted to come back. It is my favorite restaurant.

Did not have a nice experience the food was cold the service was slow.
