The Barrel Head

Numerous friends of mine ate there on a Saturday night. Three of us ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich and all three of us were vomiting and had digestive issues within 3 hours of leaving / sick all night. When calling the general manager to alert him to this problem in order for him to investigate it he informed me that food poisoning takes 8-10 hours to set in and was not interested in hearing about it. He needs to do his research. Generally food poisoning takes anywhere from 2 - 6 hours to set in. Don't waste your money.

Tonight the girls thought that it would be fun to visit the Barrel Head and have a baby shower. Hhhhmmmm interesting it was. Our waiter David was short with us. He didn't have much time to serve us let alone be polite. There were 10 of us girls patronizing this establishment. Five of us he was cordial to. The other five in our party, David was down right rude. One of our guest had set her glass on the edge of the table (between 2 tables) and it fell over and spilled soda. David became very agitated, but he did bring a towel and help clean it up. After a while he took our order and another guest happened to knock her soda over, a complete accident. When they asked David for a towel to clean it up he stormed to my end of the table and slapped it stating something under his breath. Then he came back and helped clean it up. After leaving our table he went to the table behind us and proceeded to tell them that it was our fault that he kept bumping into them. Excuse me? I didn't push him and neither did anyone else. So am I missing something here? How is it our fault that he came to work in a bad mood and passed it along to his guests.



I did ask for a manager. I was going to complain about our service BUT I was promptly told by another waiter that she was busy on the back line. There were several tables open, so I am not sure as to why she was so busy that she could not talk to a customer. I never did hear from her. After paying my ticket I promptly left and I will not enter this establishment again.

Barrel Head has good service , good food and good beer and is more enjoyable now that there is a smoking ban for the whole state.

we had done nothing but look forward to the reopening since the tornadoes, and every time we have been in there since we have been very disapointed. there was slow service and the food hasnt been up to par. we will never go back again.

I told the staff I ordered a potato I was told "we ran out because a lot of people are ordering it". The Manager told me I would have some in a minute. I was served potato spuds.



The menu includes pizza, sandwiches, as well as beer wine and a full bar.



I asked if I could have a credit for the potato, the manager told me if I did not pay for the meal they would call the police. Then they asked me to leave before we had finished the meal. Requiring us to pay.



There was one terrible disappointment
