I had my carpet cleaned by the Southfield, MI office today and I feel that I wasn't given the proper quote, so I didn't get all the rooms done like I wanted. It was nickel and dime. NOT HAPPY WITH THE COST!!!

Really disappointed. We bought a new house and wanted the carpets cleaned as they weren't in too bad of shape. The first team that came out was really nice but they couldn't do anything because we'd just painted. Would have been nice to get that info when I called to schedule since I wanted the work done before the furniture went in. Second team that came out were very rude and apparently in a big hurry. They kept adding on charges since one room was too big and considered 2 rooms, then the fabric protection was extra as well. After they left we found large stains all over the place. My husband was able to clean it with a little green steam machine. Wtf? Why did I pay nearly $400 for them to not even clean the carpet??? My husband called to complain and they NEVER called us back. Why should they? They got their money.

I recently had five rooms and a sofa and chair cleaned by STEVE HAGOPIAN & CO. not only was I impressed but I was shocked at how clean everything came out! I had recently just painted my walls and they were EXTREMELY careful about the walls! I would recommend them to anyone!!

Steve hagopian & co was very prompt & ready to clean when they arrived to my home. They did a FANTASTIC job on the carpet. Like their slogan says, they are picky indeed. However, I inquired about getting 2 pieces of furniture (couch & chair w/ pillows) cleaned. It was more expensive to clean the furniture than it was to clean the carpet. I thought that was a bit steep.

Recently, I took 2 handmade rugs here for cleaning. I knew they had been in business for a long time, and felt confident they would do a good job.

When I picked them up, took them home and unrolled them, not only were they still dirty, with my original dog hair on them, (that was the least of my problems) the color the rugs had bled onto the binding and the fringe. Also, the rugs were like cardboard, and the fringe was discolored yellow with yellow stains on the binding.

They were a complete disaster, and I am afraid they are ruined. (One is a $2000 rug)



I took them immediately to the Original Hapogian to have them recleaned and evaluated. They were shocked with the cleaning and with what Steve Hagopian Co. had done to them. They have to have their chemist see if they can be fixed, and this will cost me additional money, not to mention the original money I am out.



Do yourself a favor, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I can't believe a company does business like this.

I thought I was calling the heavily advertised "original" hagopian to tell them what a crappy job they did when I accidentally dialed Steve Hagopian and Co. A nice gentleman answered and when I had finished complaining about the stains they had caused and the dirt they tracked in to my home, he explained that I had called the wrong company. I had no idea there were two. So he sent some GREAT cleaners out to my home and they did a fantastic job and a better price. I will never confuse the two again. STEVE HAGOPIAN is by far the better company.

All of the other carpet cleaning places I have tried treated me as if my business didn't matter. STEVE HAGOPIAN and CO gave me a narrow time frame of when to expect them so I didn't wait around all day and even called on the way. Their prices were fair and competitive and the service was fantastic. Why go just anywhere when you can go to the best and friendliest? I know I won't use anyone else.

I've used several different carpet cleaners for my carpet and furniture cleaning in the past. I tried Steve Hagopian and Company this last time and I will be using them for all our carpet/furniture and rug cleaning in the future. They're people are the mot professional and personable staff and so easy to work around my busy schedule. I really liked the way I didn't have to wait all day...or even an afternoon or morning for them to arrive. They called me a half hour before they got to my house so I was able to work most of the day. They've been in business for a long time and they made me feel like my cleaning was the most important job of the day! THANK YOU guys for such a great experience.

Being from England, I was not sure what to expect when having my carpet cleaned in the States. My first experience was very disappointing. The company (remaining nameless) showed up late (with no courtesy phone call) then overcharged me for the work I was having done! Poppycock! Well, I looked up Hagopian in Southfield, and let me tell you this is the best I could have ever hoped for!!! They showed up on time, the technician was friendly, and he removed stains that the other company couldn't. I have told all my friends to only use Steve Hagopian & Co.!

Needed emergency carpet cleaning before company came for the holiday. Steve Hagopian and Co managed to fit me in the next day and did a wonderful job. I'd recommend them to anyone, especially because they are a small and local company. Customer service is clearly important to them.

I had my carpets cleaned by Steve Hagopian & Co. last month. They scheduled a time when it was convenient for me, and kept me informed of the cleaning technician's expected time of arrival. They even called me when they were on their way to my home. Very convenient! The carpet cleaning performance was spectacular. Fast, efficient, friendly and courteous. The technician made me feel very comfortable the minute I answered the door. As a woman alone in my home at the time of the cleaning this was very important to me. I will only use Steve Hagopian & Co. for my carpet and furniture cleaning from now on. They're the best I've ever used.
