House of Pho

Portions are indeed smaller than other such restaurants, and prices are not cheap. In fact, it's a borderline rip-off (including $15 minimum for credit card orders). I ordered their dumplings for almost $6 and got a tiny little box with maybe half a dozen little things the size of quarters. The Pho soup is deceptively priced at $7 or so, but that includes ONLY broth and noodles. To get the actual Pho soup, you have to pay an additional $1.75 for each additional ingredient like meat and so on. Who runs a business like this? Who are they fooling? I ordered their Pho soup to go and got it in one of those plastic containers prepackaged Asian soups come in, with the broth to the side and everything clumped in (the noodles were just congealed in a block, literally) inside. It tasted no different from the same prepackaged soup sold in Shop Rite for three dollars and I'm sure, just as costly to produce.

This a very modern yet very traditional Vietnamese restaurant with excellent pho and other main dishes. A real gem hidden in Southampton.

I've tried many Pho places in Philadelphia. (I'm Asian) I moved to the suburbs not long ago and I haven't been able to find a good Vietnamese restaurant until I accidently came across this one. Their pho was very tasty and their meat was high quality. Their portion is a bit smaller but definitely worth it. Price is on the higher side compared to pho restaurants in Philadelphia but the coupon evens it out. Waiters and cashier is very friendly and speaks English. I highly recommend this place!
