The Community Foundation for Jewish Education also known as CFJE, offers several early childhood and adult education programs for more than 25,000 students. It is a support foundation of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. The organization s early childhood education programs are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. It provides consulting, professional development and research-based services to directors and teachers of their affiliated schools for developmentally appropriate Jewish education. The Community Foundation for Jewish Education s educator referral and placement program assists to hire principals, teachers, educational specialists and administrative staff members. In addition, the organization offers informal educational programs for teenage girls. It also assists with professional development and community understanding. The Community Foundation for Jewish Education is located in Skokie, Ill.
