Larsen's Grill

My steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. I ordered the Spencer. The mashed potatoes were yummie as were the Veggies. Only complaint on vegetables was that the asparagus ends were not cut off high enough so the woodie part was still there. The mushrooms were very good however they were rather small. Their salad was the best part of all. Don't remember the name of it but it had chopped kale and other vegetables and it was enough for two or more people as were the potatoes and mushrooms. Yes it is VERY pricey but for a special occasion (my birthday) it was perfect. They made this special cake/ice cream that took up a whole plate with witting on it plus amazing decorations. No they didn't sing thank heavens. The worst part was that you couldn't read the menu without using your cell phone. It was very dark inside other than the ugly light of numerous cell phones lit up to read the me menu. Oh yes and the chef came by to make sure everything was to our liking and he brought over extra mushroom enough for everyone. :e)

I don't want to gripe, but I thought that spending $45.00 on a steak--the STEAK, not the entire bill--should land me a mouth watering treat. Nope. Didn't happen. No way! The artichoke appetizer was ok, but at The Cheesecake Factory the artichoke is way better and the Steak Diane puts the streak I had here to shame! I might try once more, but, hey, for ten bucks at the market I can cook up a better steak with more flavor than here. Bye.
