Post office has gone to hell, we spend our evenings delivering mail to other in our neighborhood. Seem the people they hire to deliver the mail cannot read so they drop it in what ever mail box. Repeated attempts to see the Post Master are blocked by his staff, who will not take this matter to him.

BEWARE!! A new post office "manager" at the Sierra Vista office has arrived!! Being new here, he is apparently going to operate "by the book" without any regard for "sound judgment" as he said in his own words that "he has no authority to make any "professional" decisions to his discretion." He could not even make an exception for a measly $2.50 purchase!!



In the past years, I have made payments with a debit/credit card without question or denial from any of the clerks about an unsigned card. The purchases were always accepted with a picture identification card. Today, the card was denied by the clerk and "manager." Upon showing the clerk my identification card, she pointed to her sticky note posted on some other print to the side of the counter that read, "Credit cards will not be accepted without a signature"--a new order!!



Upon speaking to the new manager, he said that he was not in any authority or capacity to make a simple call in the exception for a $2.50 purchase!!



To USPS Sierra Vista manager:

Get off your not-so-high-horse, seek professional development and training and learn how to better manage and use "intelligent discretion" in simple matters!!! You are bound to fail in your new position as you will likely lose revenue in this location!!
