Happily Ever After Bridal Boutique

Had a great time. Beautiful, unique dresses. Not your average dress options. Clean, well lit establishment with a sizeable dressing room and knowledgeable attendants. Didn't buy a dress from here but it was simply because I didn't find "the one". Best option In town for sure.

I have heard wonderful things about Happily Ever After, but after visiting yesterday I was very disappointed. I had set up a 430 appointment and got there around 415, and was told they were still with a client and to come back in 20 minutes, which wasn't a big deal. We shopped at some boutiques while we waited and returned back at 430, the time we set our appointment . We were greeted with the person who was to be finding me a dress, and said they were still with a client and to wait. About 10 minutes of waiting one of the staff told the girl who was going to be finding us a dress to go ahead and look for us some dresses. The lady then asked me what other places have you been, and I showed her a dress that we really liked and she asked me many questions about it (where did you find that? How much was it?, etc) which I found very unprofessional. It was like she was scoping out the competition. But anyways, So she walked us around to the dresses and I picked some dresses that I liked, and she was walking back to the dressing room and I walked back there with her. She told me I needed to wait up front until their other clients were done. So my family and I waited up at the front some more, and when it came to about 4:52, 22 minutes after our scheduled appointment, I knew I couldn't wait any longer, and that the dress I loved was waiting for me back at Alfred Angelo.



I think they just overbooked themselves or had a walk in, which is probably very seldom for them based on all the wonderful reviews I have read. I just didnt have the best experience.

A week ago we visited Happily Ever After as our last stop before making our decision on my daughter's wedding gown. We had been to a several stores already. This shop is the first place we visited among all those in the Shreveport-Bossier area that had the style gown we were looking for. They went out of their way to make a phone call to see if there was any way to get the gown quickly since they were not showing one in stock. The dress has been ordered and should be here next month. The staff is very friendly & professional & truly takes an interest you & your particular needs. We highly recommend this store!!

This place is wonderful. The customer service is top notch - Dionne will make you feel so special. They have beautiful gowns at great prices. If I had the dress shopping to do all over again, this is exactly where I would go. I highly recommend it!!

Where do I start? I cannot say enough great things about Happily Ever After Bridal in Shreveport and their staff. They provided me with the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience I could ever ask for!



First of all, you have to make an appointment on Saturdays which I appreciated because I was the only bride there at my appointed time with my crew (Mom, MOH, Sister, and soon to be Mother-In-Law) who had a cute comfy couch to sit on while watching me try on dresses. Elizabeth was my consultant and she was amazing! I showed her pictures of what I like and told her what I didn't like. We then both started looking through the dresses and she pulled one and I said yes I love that one and she said this will be the first one you try on. I put that dress on first and immediately knew it was THE ONE! I walked out and everyone knew it too by my smile and how happy I was in it. Elizabeth listened to what I wanted and didn't want and found a dress that she knew I would love and KNEW it should be the first one I try on. I tried on about 5 or 6 more dresses but none of them gave me the feeling like the first one did.



Their expertise is on point and they are so sweet and are there for you to find your perfect gown, not to sell you a gown out of your price range so that they can make money. I am a bride on a very strict budget and Elizabeth kept that in mind as she went through the dresses and respected the fact that I did not want to go over budget on my dress.



I even went to another salon after Happily Ever After just to be sure and the service and space was not as personal. One more thing I have to share, Happily Ever After closes at 6:00pm on Saturdays and me and my crew were eating when I realized I didn't get a picture of all of us in the salon and I wanted one terribly (we live out of town so I had to get it that day.) So I called Elizabeth at 5:55pm and asked if we could come take a quick picture and she so graciously waited on us until a few minutes after 6:00 so that I could have my picture. WONDERFUL people!!!



I would absolutely recommend this bridal salon to any bride wanting that amazing shopping experience that is very personal and so much fun!!

My daughter gave us only 8 weeks to plan the wedding. The first thing that we did was shop for the dress. Happily Ever After was the second shop we visited, the first shop left us with a cold feeling. We loved the staff at Happily Ever After - my daughter explained what she wanted and the dresses they pulled were perfect. When she stepped out of the dressing room in dress #4. I knew she had found "the dress". We stopped looking for the dress and added assessories.

I was very nervous to look for a dress but Dionne was the most helpful wonderful and sweet person to work with through the whole experience! I dont think I could have asked for a better person! The shop was awesome so many dresses to choose from and I felt very comfortable. Dionne picked out most of my dresses and was very attentive to what I wanted and didnt want. By the end of the experience I felt as if Dionne were one of my family memebers and I valued her opinion just like a sister! I found the perfect dress for an awesome price! Thank you Happily ever after and Dionne especially for being there and helping me with just one of the moments I will remember for the rest of my life! You are awesome!

I loved Dionne! She was super helpful and honest! I think I have found the dress! She made the experience fun and it was everything I would want in a bridal shop! Highly reccomend this place!

I LOVE this boutique !! Dionne is amazing she will help you from start to finish !! They have beautiful dresses for affordable prices & she is willing to make a payment plan ! I am soo thankful to have found such an awesome boutique and now I have the wedding dress of my dreams !! I recommend happily ever after if you want to leave happy :) !!

They have THE BEST selection! If you are a deisgner name person you must visit. The staff is so helpful and made me feel so comfortable. I would recommend them to ANY bride looking for the perfect dress =) I definately found my dream dress here.
