Michael V. Tufano is a fraud. Consumers looking for a cabinet maker, please beware! He took our money and did not perform the service.

My wife and I contracted with Michael Tufano to build cabinets for our house. He was paid nearly $28,000 and after nearly 9 months of missng every deadline he set, our kitchen is a disaster. We initially were very patient with Michael (he always had an excuse why the cabinets were not completed). After repeatedly calling and showing up at his shop on Marginal Way in West Seattle, he finally began delivering cabinets piece by piece. The delays were bad enough, but nothing compared to the horrible quality of the cabinets. Most of the cabinet doors do not fit properly, and some do not even cover the openings all the way, with exposed gaps of between 1/16" to 1/8." Not even one of the doors on the island opens or fits properly. The crown molding does not cover the gap on the top due to Michael making the cabinets the wrong size (he hired his own person to come out and measure for the cabinets). Not one of the drawers works properly, with one entire bank of drawers still without any working hardware or facias. Toe kicks were not included on all of the cabinets, and some of the upper cabinet panels do not even match. Despite all of this, we attempted to get Michael to come and fix the problems. He refuses, and told us to take him to court. Buyer beware!
