Never recommend

My boss took 5 girls with her for a business trip and we selected the sugar maple cabins because they seemed to be perfect, well how wrong were we, we go to the cabin and there was a strong smell of feces and mold in the downstairs bathroom, we were highly disappointed there was a huge hair ball in the room and hair in the beds, the downstairs wasn't properly cleaned, when we talked to manager they were less then helpful and refused to come see our cabin and the smell, I would not recommend these cabins to anyone because of the lack of cleanliness in the cabin and how rude the managers were, less then satisfactory.

I gave it one star because you...

I gave it one star because you can't give it a 0! When I arrived at my cabin, there were dead bugs everywhere, a huge hairball, hair on the pillows...just to name a few. The photos on the website showed gorgeous bathrooms, but when we got there they had scum on the walls and floors and smelled of mold. The management company apparently sent a cleaning crew, but the only thing resolved was the hairball was gone. The scum which looked like blood on the wall was still there, along with the gunk on the floor. They refused to send anyone out again to check on the smell in the bathroom. The smell was so awful we actually left early.

Don't stay here, we were in the theater mountains cabin. There were broken vents, no projector for the theater, the bath tub leaked to the basement, there was mouse poop in the beds as well as dead bugs, and the microwave didn't work.fell over a heat vent in floor that was 3ins.sticking.had to go to urgent care,did a injury claim at office.it's been a month foot still hurts,they can't tell me anything about my claim,keep saying I'll have some one call you,been four weeks no call,gone too get me a lawer,I would never stay there again!!!!!

The cabins are great, wonderfu...

The cabins are great, wonderful view, spacious. All the luxury you can imagine. The service and functionality of the amenities; another story, in a word - AWFUL.



We arrived after 6:00 pm, so we were given instructions and entry code to our cabin. Upon arrival, mid July (the AC did not work) on two levels. The upper level was our selling point. It had a (beautiful theatre room, with pool table, games and a Jacuzzi). Imagine our surprise when the AC unit circulated hot air. The room was literally 95 degrees and the Jacuzzi was broken. The second level although circulating cold, kept the room around 70 degrees. The lower level was perfect (with the exception of the television unit that did not work in the lower bedroom).



The following morning we arrived at the rental office only to discover that office hours were (2:00 pm – 6:00 pm). We had no choice but to suffer the room. We did some touring and returned to the rental office at 3:07pm.



We were met by the customer service agent and begin to share our concerns. Before we could finish our sentence, we were literally cut off in mid sentence as the agent relayed “I cannot address any concerns until your bill is paid in full”. We then paid the bill and begin to communicate our frustration and dilemma. The solution a half hearted "sorry, we will get maintenance up there and call for other services but we are not sure when they will arrive". At this point I became outraged and asked to speak to the manager. (Krystal).



Krystal coldly relayed the same message, “we apologize for your inconvieance, but all I can do is offer to have the issues resolved”. She then told us that we could have called the number printed on our instructions “they clearly tell you how to reach maintenance during an emergency”. I then read the pre-printed envelope which relayed if we needed customer service arrangements there were instructions to follow. There was no mention of emergency issues or maintenance. The manager then relayed we should have utilized the number posted in the cabin to address maintenance issues; to which I relayed THERE WAS NO NUMBER POSTED. While Krystal looked puzzled, she offered no response to this. At this point I am furious and asked how Krystal would resolve if she HAD to be the guest under these circumstances. She relayed the best she could do was to offer to fix the issues, and if they could not be repaired she could offer us another cabin but could not guarantee we would have the same amenities. She could offer no price adjustments, despite the fact that we had paid in full for the use of the full cabin and all its amenities. (Wow). Management never addressed that fact that we had been there two days with broken AC, broken Jacuzzi, and a television unit that did not work, in one of the bedrooms. In fact they were cold and arrogant. They offered no credit for the “less than luxury” condition of the cabin. In fact, they asked us to pay an additional $400.00 (in addition to the deposit we had placed to hold the room, in case there were additional damages). What about our damages? They should have been giving us a $400.00 credit.
