Joe’s Campus Heroes

A+ everything, so clean and new, selection of food was great. Everything was so fresh and prices are great for how much food you get. Coffee is awesome. People will compare to the old place, but Selden should support this local spot no matter what! it could have turned into another commercial fast food place.

I just went to Joe's Campus Heroes today and I definitely will be returning. Tomorrow is the actual grand opening but they had a "soft"opening today. The place was packed so the anticipation is great. The front staff is very helpful and friendly and were extremely patient with me. Their menu is rather extensive with the usual heroes you'd expect in such a place, but also a few interesting ones. I couldn't resist ordering Litts Way and it didn't disappoint. It was jam-packed with pastrami, turkey, melted mozzaella, coleslaw and Russian dressing. My sister ordered the Selden, which is incredibly huge and stuffed with turkey, roast beef, ham, and Swiss cheese. They'll be serving breakfast soon and I suspect that'll be awesome as well.
There's a cute cafe section in the front called Kim's Cafe and it looks like they're serving gourmet coffees, cappuccino and teas, along with sweets. I spied red velvet whoopie pies there but I resisted. This is just what Selden needed and I'm looking forward to getting evening coffee there. I highly recommend this place.
