Morganz Pub & Eatery

I've always had a great time at Morganz whether it be an outing for food, beverage or camaraderie. I think they have a great selection of food and I've never gotten bored with my options when deciding what to order, though my favorite items are definitely the Morganz selection of burgers! The staff has always been cordial and prompt when taking orders and refilling beverages, it may just be my infectious personality but I think treating a waiter/waitress/bartender with kindness and respect goes a long way in having them reciprocate (and that is just a basic life lesson). I enjoy the weekend nights when the Bar books live bands or DJ's for entertainment, it definitely creates an exciting atmosphere and it definitely enhances the enjoyment of the night. I'm a regular patron of Morganz and have been going since it opened, I highly recommend it.

I was not impressed with Morganz AT ALL. The food was less than gourmet, and the atmostpehere was nothing to write home about and truthfully, the place left me confused. I couldnt tell if I was dining in a classy sit-down restaurant or a loud obnoxious sportsbar. You could be having a nice evening dinner, when suddenly somebody puts heavy metal on the juke box, because oh..wait..YOU SIT RIGHT NEXT TO THE BAR!! This place is more of a bar than anything. The service was not all that great, the waitress couldnt care less about us, and our entire experience was fairly forgettable. But i would say the worst part about our dinner was how much it cost!!! Their prices are RIDICULOUSLY high...even simple chicken or spaghetti and meatballs is WAY overpriced. I dont know if they think they can charge that much because they want to be known as a "fancy" restaurant, but like I said..the food sucked, the prices are too high, and if you're looking for a quiet dinner with your sweetie dont go here because the atmosphere won't allow it. If you want a nice night out with the kids, dont go here because the guys yelling and cursing at the football game will ruin family night. And if you're looking for quick, cheap eats that taste good, DONT GO HERE bc, well....like I said.......
