Samo Pizza

This is our favorite pizza place around. Wide variety of choices including vegetarian and non-cheese options and of course plenty for omnivores. The crust, particularly with sesame seeds is, special, crunchy but not dry.

Having gone to this location for years, I have found the quality to be consistently great. This location offers eat-in, though the atmosphere is on the industrial side, not necessarily your most romantic spot, but then, the food is worth it.

This is one of two Abbot's. The other in on Main Street in

Santa Monica and is excellent. This one is across from the

Community College and is inconsistent. It depends which kids

are working the kitchen. If you want to really experience the best

that Abbot's has to offer, go to the other one.

The toppings at this joint are pretty top notch, but it's the crust that turns their pizza's into real winners. I recommend ordering, leaving, then picking up, as there's not much atmosphere to speak of.
