El Palenque Mexican

I loved Quitos the resturant that was here before El Palenque. I was sad when Quitos closed but super happy to find that the new owner used to work for them and the food is still as great. I would highly reccommend that you eat here!

We have eaten at the El Palenque Mexican restaurant one or more times a week since it opened and we drive a distance of about 14 miles to do that. It's well worth it!! The food is excellent!! This family owned and operated business is very customer oriented and and has become our favorite place for tasty Mexican style dishes. The food is always served piping hot on very hot plates to keep it warm as long as possible and it's spiced just right to suit our taste. We have tried most of their dishes and found them delightful to the palate as well as pleasing to the eye. We especially enjoy their salsas, Pozole and Chile Verde. Their daily specials and full course meals come at very acceptable price-points for the high quality and quantity of food served. We found the service provided by the owner, his wife, sons, daughter and other wait-persons to be excellent! We were impressed by the fact that the owner visits with customers at their tables and ensures they were pleased with everything.
