Lopez Pat Roofing

Pat Lopez contracted to replace my Valle Del Sol home's flat roof in July, 2013 with a 3-ply modified torch down system. I was on the roof during his inspection, and he assured me that the roof appeared to have good drainage and it didn't need to be sloped under the roofing material. His charge was $11,000 for labor and materials with a 12 year guarantee.

Buyer beware. Apparently he will say anything to get the job or just take advantage of a woman. The roof went down in July, and in August, the neighbor above me alerted me that the roof was pooling. I didn't worry at first but the next summer the pooling was worse and in more places, so I tried contacting Mr. Lopez by email and phone messages telling him what was going on. I got a phone message that summer that he couldn't help it because the roof was not leveled. WHAT? He was the one that told me it didn't need it.

Over the next year after trying to contact him again at no avail, I hired someone else who mitigated the pooling for $3000.

There is another Lopez Roofing in town who is fair and square. Pat Lopez is NOT!
