Emily's Good Things To Eat

Found Emily's by accident on a quick trip to UC Santa Cruz. Actually, we were lost, lost and hungry. As we entered, we were face to muffin with an opulent display of the most gorgeous muffins we'd ever seen. Pumpkin, breadpudding, pineapple upside down, carrot, lemon, chocolate (to die for), and quite a few others. There were other baked goods as well, handcrafted cakes, pies and pastries. We went in for two muffins, and left with $20+ dollars worth and some great cappuchinos as well. Because I was taking my daughter to camp, I let her nibble on whatever muffin tops she wanted, and it was memorable. My husband was still enjoying his share at home a week later (they kept well in the refrigerator, but I would freeze next time.)

Service was very warm and friendly, nice spaces to sit inside and out, and the restroom was clean. Planning to stop for more muffins on next trip. Maybe even try some of the interesting sandwiches, too.
