Peninsula Pet Clinic

I've visited this vet a few times. Each time, I found myself in a position where unnecessary procedures and products were being pushed on me. Each time I had to take control of the situation and refuse what was deemed "extra". This literally saved me hundreds of dollars, with this vet, and animals are fine! I have grown tired of their business practices and have moved on to a vet down the street. Much, much happier. No nonsense and no guilt trip. The other thing that bugs me about this place is that I never saw Dr Cemen... Only what seem to be lower level vets who are probably cheaper to employ.

I took my poodle here a while ago and was VERY happy about how he turned out. I was surprised when I came over to pick him back up. It looked like a total make over. I used to go to other places for grooming and I think that this one did a very great job during the teddy bear cut. He was very fluffy and smelled great as well. The price was reasonable that I payed for the grooming and I would definitely come back again.

Let's see how to start.. Trying to keep it local and within a business that we know the owners, I decided to give my husky a treat. Grooming and shaving my husky fur a little to keep her not so hot for the season.

They are so nice and talk you onto their business, but then...after three hours of having my dog for its appointment I get back to the shop to pick her up and there she comes...wet still, fleas still on her and the grooming job looked like someone tried to cut my dog hair with the lawn moer. Than I asked if that was a joke and they say NO, "shameless NO". I was like WHAT? Then dog goes back in cries, cries and cries more and I'm like what's going on back there??? And they go..we are trying to fix it.. Ok..dog comes back and look like a 3 years old kid tried to groom my Siberian Husky with a regular amateur hair clippers that you by at rite aid or something.

I am very upset and I wanna let everyone know that PENINSULA PET CLINIC IS WACK! The CRAPPIEST place to take your loved pet. If you are on facebook look for the san pedro group page for the pictures! BOYCOTT those clowns, they are overpriced, disrespectful and know nothing about customer service.

If you love you pet, stay away from those scumbs!! I'm pissed and OUT.
