Wild Pepper

This is my lunch take out spot for Chinese cuisine. Lunch special is so good that comes with main dish, rice and soup:) Kung Pao Prawns is awesome!

Food was fantastic.



Ordered:

Wild Pepper Chicken - Peppery and flavorful. Tons of vegetables which may not be for everyone, but good balance for me.



Chicken Chow Mein - A bit dry, but very good and huge portion.



Combo Fried Rice - I asked for this spicy, and they actually did make it spicy! It was delicious.



Black Mushroom and Bok Choy - I LOVE mushrooms, and my wife and I really enjoyed this. Very saucey so especially good with rice.



Overall - definitely worth the order, and will def be a go to for Chinese in the Mission.

Very clean and fast service. Great food. Their specialty was the orange chicken. I particularly enjoyed their fried rice that was seasoned very well. This is my new delivery go-to menu

Large portions, amazing lunch selections, and the hot & sour soup with the lunch special is super tasty! Loved the green tea/jasmine pot they bring you at no charge :)

Ming and crew are the best! The chicken wings are AMAZINGLY addicting....calling them now!

I love this little hidden gem of a restaurant. The food is always really fresh and reliable. I have ordered takeout from here, and I am pretty convinced they have a time portal, because the food always arrives extremely fresh, faster than expected, and the order is complete. The owner is really very nice and always makes me feel welcome. I highly recommend the black pepper beef on sizzling platter, even if it is to go, because it is superb. Their menu may not be the most inventive, but for reliably great food, with no wait, and clean fresh ingredients, this is the place to go.

Wild Pepper we learned about by chance, in conversation with a foodie at La Taqueria. He raved about Wild Pepper and happened to have its card. Three days later we went. A tomato egg flower soup instense with basil. Salt and Pepper pork chops, messy to pick at but awsone. Spicy Vegetables and seafood...General Tsao's chicken, such basics as chow mein... I've only been four times but everything so far has been spectacular. The menu is long and inventive... how do they do it? The owner is gracious and makes good recommendatoms. The restaurant is pleasant and clean, up from the basic. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially with a sense of adventure and desire to explore.

Wild Pepper is the go-to Chinese spot in the mission. Always fast service, generous portions, and delicious food!!

General tso's is quite tasty. Be sure to order a side of rice. Crab rangoons are decent.

I love this place. I bring all my family and friends everytime I come. The service and food is great.

Salt and Pepper vegetable balls are addictive.

Fried Tofu with basil was refreshing and tasty.

Vegetable Chow Mein solid too.



Delivery was on time, reasonable price for food and it was stlil warm.

Wild Pepper is amazing. I have been going to this place for 2 years! I want to say that this is the best Chinese restaurant in SF. I also love the atmosphere and the bright colors painted inside and out.

We came here a couple time on sunday for lunch.

We love the quiet atmosphere and neighborhood unlike other noisy chinese restaurants.

The food was delicious too and come in big portion, the mixed vegetable was fresh, cooked just right with a mild flavor of cooking wine. The chow mein were awesome too. Recommended to those who wants to eat some good chinese food in a peaceful atmosphere, without feeling rushed.

You got to any sit-down Chinese restaurant and you pretty much get great food. What sets this place apart was that the restaurant was quite small, the decor was soothing, the place was clean, the food tasted great, AND it wasn't noisy as hell like those other Chinese places. I actually didn't have to yell to talk to my friends for a change.



We had the duck, kungpao chicken, roasted pork, chowmein, mixed vegetables, and all were very tasty at a reasonable price.



Looking forward to coming back here.

Every time we crave for China food delivery, we always order through Wild Pepper. The staff are very friendly , food taste great and delivery is quick.



They also have good selection of Chinese dishes from different regions.

The dining room is quiet and cool, removed from the hot bustle just outside the door. The food is fresh, moderately priced, with a long list of chef's specials.

I adore this place. It's my neighborhood Chinese restaurant, and I go often. The menu is uniformly delicious. My favorite dishes are the Jalapeno Fried Rice and the General Tso Chicken. Prices are really fair for the area and the entree sizes are suitable.

Second time around at this place and they have not disappointed. The food is delicious and the meat and veggies always taste fresh. ANNNNND its cheap...winner winner, Tsao Chicken Dinner.

Great food at great prices.. Very nice and clean restaurant great service and a very good menu. Had the beef basil with rice. Was great. Will be back for more.
