The Private Gym

Yes, it's small, private, but has weird, short hours of operation. They're never open. Actually, the place really is quite odd for an Ocean Beach neighborhood.. The owner, Natalie, the crabby short haired woman who owns the place is quite rude in real life and she gets drunk & smokes at Lucy's Bar across the street from her business. She was arrested for domestic violence with her boyfriend once when she lived across the street too. Not a very good or professional appearance did she make to me.

This place has to be the cleanest gym in San Diego! Also, it has THE most affordable personal training. Everytime I go in, I get personal trainers all over me, checking my form and pushing me through my workouts that they put together (I prefer to call them torture sessions!) Seriously, the trainers are great and Natalie, the owner is a taskmaster! I get as many workouts as I want for only $269 a month - really good value for the service and success. Thanks Private Gym!
