I've owned my home in San Diego since 1987. It was my first home. In 2006 I fell into the easy refi trap and took a 2nd on my home which I thought I could refi later since prices were climbing. I was wrong! As a home remodeler, my business dropped and my home went into foreclosure. I was referred by a friend to The Certified Group. They sat and explained my options. I chose to short sale my home to try and salvage my credit. They worked very hard with my lender Chase and actually got me $10K as an incentive from Chase to not let my home go to foreclosure. I will recomend this company to anyone that has a housing problem.
