Sunset Ridge Apartment

This place needs a whole lot of improvements. The management here is not the greatest but the maintenance crew work their butts off to fix tenants trouble calls.. Unfortunately there's a lot of tenants who do drugs and drink alcohol out on the car ports in front of everyone.. It seems they don't care and I guess try to timidate other tenants as being the alpha males or something.. Tenants call patrol and they get there but he does not really show authority, he seems friendly with them and takes forever for these tenants to either put away their drugs/alcohol or clear out the area.. Tenants here are careless, they always hang out the car ports like if it's a gang territory and they just litter in the car ports and the trash cans are only a few feet away from them.. There's no assigned parking so first cone first served.. If you're late , then you have to park your car a distance bad with all the things going on you're probably going to want to keep and eye on your car.. So far there's hasn't been any car theft or any of that since I've moved in.. And I feel that the website is very misleading.. They should post a pic of all the thugs hanging out and doing drugs and so fourth.. It's the tenants that make this place not a great place to live because they are just careless and make it feel like we're living in the hood.. There's other tenants who work for a living and have family but it's the careless tennants who make it look horrible.. The prices are pretty low and it attracts a lot of low income people but they have a type of life style and bring it here..

I have lived here for many years and have always had enjoyable times here. it is a great community with a great management company that have always taken good care of me over the years. i would refer anyone and everyone i know to move into this complex.

I have Lived in this Community for a long while. I have enjoyed every moment here , the Office staff is very friendly and helpful. As for the Maintenance crew they are great as well... very friendly and always saying hello when they are doing their rounds in the community. They always make sure that everything in my apartment is fixed and working correctly. I would recommend this Community to everyone i know, that is looking for a place to stay

I Love living here at sunset ridge.

Don't listen to the hype on their website or any other liar out there who will tell you this place is "clean" or "great to live at" or even... "all apartments have their problems." Apartments have their problems...? This one takes the cake.



The manager Charles is a drug dealer and does drugs himself, I have on occasion seen him around 3 am visiting tenants apartments to do such acts.



Also, they won't fix your maintenance issues until you make a fuss about it to the health department when it involves mold, infestations, or even fecal matter on your patio and in the parking lot because of dirty diapers being tossed everywhere. Even if code enforcement is called, they won't fix the actual problem... just do a half crack job.



Thirdly, the cops refused to respond to an outbreak. The managers admitted to having five different gangs living at this place, and when a gang fight involving 20 plus people put tenants in danger... the police, when called, told everyone they did not want to come to the apartment because it was TOO DANGEROUS for POLICE OFFICERS to intervene...leaving us to hope we would not die that night due to stray bullets and stabbings.



Muggings and robberies happen almost every other night, and the management continues to move these people in. To top this all off, they lie to you telling you their appliances are state of the art quality... THEY ARE NOT. These appliances are at least 6 years old.



The advertised amenities ARE NOT HERE. Four years the "gated community" does not have a gate, or a "fitness room." It says there is one here, but i've yet to even see one GET STARTED ON BEING BUILT.



Management dodges questions, and their excuse is "you're stuck here, your lease isn't up." Bunch of crock, do you think we're stupid? Tenants have rights you cocky son of a *****.



KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AS A TENANT: FIGHT THEM BACK!!!!!



or just don't even move in... spread the word, this place is a hell hole.
