Himalayan Bazar

AS OF TWO YEARS AGO THIS PLACE HAS UNDERGONE NEW MANAGEMENT. This place offered me an incredible selection. I was so impressed by the customer service and the willingness of the new owner to help me! He even offered me suggestions for traditional Indian cooking! I plan on coming here as often as I can and would heavily recommend this.

Ok, store, for immediate Indian requirements. The only problem is the Nepalese lady cashier who is available after 6:00 PM and on weekends. She is just rude, not at all pleasant, has some hidden agenda. Totally, not fit to run a business.

Great!! I would actually have to agree with naanlover! Himalayan Bazaar offers a great selection of fresh vegetables. The employees are very kind and helpful. I love cooking Indian food and I always go here to get the fresh ingredients I don't seem to find in other markets. It is the store I was looking for!

Avoid this place at all cost!! The good reviews are probably written by them only. Very cheaply organized, no selection at all, nasty vegetables every time you go and on top off it very very cheap and horrible customer service. I called to ask them about the price for a flour sieve. The lady who answered the phone said that they had many different ones. So I asked for the price range and the cheapest one available. She immediately starting yelling in her broken english that as to why was I talking so much and that I should drive to the store if I wanted it. I was like what the heck! Who does that? I just asked for the price so I would know before I drove there to get it. I will never go there again or let my friends or family go there to be treated like this.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! All the frozen foods we bought were bad/spoiled when we came home and opened it. It was out for 10mins since we live 5 mins away and the Store owner didn't care that it was spoiled. Will never buy anything here.

This Himalayan Bazar is the kind of store i was looking for. The workers are very friendly and very friendly and always keen to help us. Since it is indian - nepali store, we can find most of the masalas and stuff here. The vegetables and ingredients are fresh and are at reasonable price. I am very happy to shop here.

This place should be avoided under all possible means. I stay close by and the ONLY reason why i have been coming here is cuz we are yet to buy a car. Most of their stocks are expired so please be careful while picking up your stuff. Once i bought curd from here. When i reached home the curd had all curdled up and was smelling bad. i went back to return it and showed it to the lady. She made a stinky lil face and finally took it.

Their vegs are way too bad. i would anyway prefer fresh vegs from HEB than this store.
