Alta Roxbury Apartments

The apartment complex is currently being repainted. There was no communication that their office entrance door was going to be closed during the paint job. I would have thought the office the closed, but it was not. Lack of communication, therefor poor rating.

I will start by saying that this apartment complex is a scam. They advertise is that is a luxury apartment, but the truth is that is just an overpriced apartment complex. I did not want to give a bad review but this is too much.

First when I moved they the apartment had this nasty smell of mold and old lady perfume, I tried to take out the smell with candles, sprays, you name it, they dismissed this as basically it wasn't their problem and after bugging them for a while they gave me their ozone machine which was on for hours and still this stinking smell did not go away, I told them I will move out then and immediately they moved me to another apartment. The complex is dirty with little stones that lousy kids throw while playing, the complex is heavily occupied with people from the middle east and they have weird schedules and very often you can hear them walking at all times at night and morning, you call. I have had call the security in this past year for at least 15 times and still they won't do anything about it, the next tenant will come and here we go again. Also the walls are paper thin and you can hear loud music and fights as well (not very common). The floors are filthy because they have this valet garbage collection system which causes trash bags leaks all over. The parking inside for tenants is an issue also since, some people will bring guests and will occupy all the spots so you have to park away, which is very inconvenient if you have a lot of groceries for example. But wait there is still more, one day I heard a brutal fight upstairs a husband beating his wife very bad, I called the police, then about 15 min later this guy leaves in a suspicious car and leaves the wife behind, then it seems that was the norm for few days and of course the management did nothing. Also the manager is rude and I heard she is very aggressive and has treated tenants in a very rude way. The Apartment complex is part of the air zone for the air force and frequently you can hear at midnight jets passing which at the begging was annoying. The AC modules are so close to the window that the noise is still annoying after a year I have been here. You have also all sorts of big dogs so if you have small children this won't be the best place, once I had a pit bull kind of dog bark at me and the owner of the dog did nothing to calm the dog I was so mad. The worst part of all is that they charge you all this money for an truly sub par apartment complex.

You hear everything. You hear the footsteps, the flushing of the toilet, the noises they make, the bangings, everything. TERRIBLE. JUST TERRIBLE.

Located on top of a hill with countryside view and yet conveniently accessible to stores, malls, and highways. This apartment complex is gated with nice amenities. In addition, the service to renters is superb, especially, the office staff, a very charming and courteous gentleman always offers great customer services. It is a neat and beautiful place to live. I have greatly enjoyed my stay in this place.

They cheated me.. They don't provide me all info that I need.. When they hold my fee for application.. They told me about the deposit which is too high for one bedroom!!.
