They have to have a signature to remove vehicles from private property.

I am the maintenance supervisor for The Grove Apartments. I am contacting you today with a complaint toward Home Motors. This company refuses to provide services to my organization and as far as I know they are the only towing company in town that can handle non consent tows.





Last week, I called Home Motors to pick up an abandoned car at the property. Three days later a driver shows up and handed me a blank tow request. At the time, I was with a representative from our home office and could not show the driver where the vehicle was located. The driver was adamant, to the point that I almost felt threatened, in front of a representative of my company, that I needed to sign a blank tow request. Mind you, I was not refusing to sign the request, I merely wanted the vehicle information present on the request before I signed it.





I called Home Motors today and was told by one of their employees that the owner is now refusing us service. I cannot believe the City of San Angelo would continue business with a company that allows its drivers to ask a customer to sign a blank request that could potentially allow the driver to pick up any car keeping Home Motors from being liable.
