They need better management and staff.. They're very rude.

This has been the WORST rental experience I've ever had. I'll start with management. They don't give a crap about you, they just want your money. I went online and paid my rent (on time) and got an email saying "Payment Successful; Thanks for your payment". One week later I got a call from the manager, "Yes, I'm calling about your unpaid rent". I told her I paid and got the confirmation, but she said they never got it. They didn't. It was never taken out of my bank account. I told her I'd give it to her in 2 days, and she said "we start evictions tomorrow, so either you hand us the money or your keys". I had a friend pay with a money order, and they said she never paid. However, when she showed them her money order receipt, they magically found it. When we first moved in, we had to pay the full $429 for only 10 days. They didn't give us a prorated rent, then expected us to pay another $429 only 10 days later for the next month's rent.



These are obviously party apartments. They don't care. But I'm in nursing school and pull all-nighters multiple times a week, and when there are parties across the hall almost every night, it's hard. They're all over the complex. Random people have walked into my apartment thinking there was a party there.



Maintenance is horrible. I was missing one of my sliding glass doors to my closet, and I told them the day I moved in. I kept calling every week or two and they said "it's ordered, it should be here soon". They never ordered it. I got it 6 months into my lease. My roommate has to deal with a hot room because after complaining multiple times, they told her, "oh that room always gets bad circulation".



Employees can apparently just walk into your apartment without knocking to put notes on your desk in your room. They don't just put them on the front door, they let themselves into your room. They knock while they open the door and don't give you a chance to open it. I've been walked in on while getting ready. It's just ridiculous.



They don't pick up after parties either. There are beer bottles and trash EVERYWHERE around my building. There's been a beer bottle in my hall for a month. The buildings may look nice, but the grounds are horribly messy and clearly not a priority, but I don't know what the priority is since it's not its residences.
