My family and I are not from Utah. While traveling through Utah, my father was in an accident that required medical attention. Very rude, didn't listen. Ignorant/Unknowledgeable regarding Social Work ethics and legal issues. Abruptly made a case determination with this ignorance and lack of knowledge. Health Care and Medical Malpractice are two very different things. Please know Social Workers can be sued too. In hospitals, it's the Social Worker who the Dr.s and RN's get non-medical information from. Soc. Wrks, LCSW's act on their own licenses for standard of care and the NASW code of ethics and can be sued too. Get the Soc.Wrk. Notes as well. They're separate from the Medical Notes in patients records.
