Lubeley's Bakery & Deli

This bakery not only serves outstanding baked goods but fabulous deli items as well. The staff is always very friendly and helpful.

From pastries to red velvet cupcakes they are #1 in our books. They did a fantastic job on my daughters wedding cake last year too. We get red velvet cupcakes mailed to Aeizona just because my sin in law can't do without them. They are GREAT!!!

Must of been an off day because I love the multi-grain whole wheat bread and buy it weekly. I've been going to Lubeley's since moving to St. Louis a few years ago and love the place. My friends always ask me to bring stuff to Chicago when I visit because there is nothing there like this place. Love the cherry chrispies and fudgies too. Also, best gooey butter in town. Believe me, I've tried a few.

We had a Halloween Wedding and had a hard time finding a bakery to do a non-traditional cake. We were told that we had to use fondant, which I hate. Everyone at Lubeley's said no problem to the butter cream and they created a perfectly wonderful cake with the Halloween Theme we wanted. The cake tasted great!!

I've been to the bakery a number of times and I will not be going back. On two occasions I was sold products that had mold on it, the second time I made a point and looked at the item (bread) on my way out and sure enough there was mold, I went back and got my money back.
