One of the essential factors of preventive dental care is to stay on top of your six-month check-ups and cleanings. During these cleanings, our staff will remove any plaque and thoroughly clean the teeth and gums in order to prevent the development of cavities, decay, gingivitis, and periodontal (gum) disease. Your cleaning may also involve x-rays, which will help us see issues that may not be noticed during a routine oral exam.
