Greetings & Salutations! My mother was taught to read by a librarian in a public library much like those of the Saint John's County branches and I too received a better education in libraries as librarians are more than shelving books, labeling them, filling out index cards, reference, etc., they like teachers go the extra mile to assist patrons however they can and they always where a smile while performing these tasks. I recommend you stop by a branch of Saint John's County and if you have books you no longer want, remember "Friends of the Library" can sell them to put into their limited coffers to buy books that are needed for their patrons, you and I!
