Lemongrass Asian Bistro St Augustine

The varied menu choices, ranging from Thai, Chinese, and sushi were a bit overwhelming at first but my server was very helpful in helping me choose something I might like. I had the Seafood Pan-fried Noodles. Fantastic Dish! My son had the Sizzling Monglian Beef which is served on a hot-plate and also very flavorful. Overall, I would say the food is much better than your standard neighborhood take-out asian fare and the service was a pleasant surprise. As I said, very helpful, friendly waitress who was informed about the menu items. Chef also accomidating as he altered my dish on the spice level ( I ordered a mild dish but wanted it Spicy). Nice experience. I will be back.

Being pregnant, I ordered a special roll not knowing that the fish would be raw. When my platter was brought out, I asked if I could have the fish cooked or if I was able to order something else. I was told that I could order something else but the owner came out and told me that I would still have to pay for the special roll because "they already made it." For the owner to come out and tell a customer that they have to pay for a meal because it has already been made, even when the customer is not able to eat it because of a certain ingredient, is not quality customer service. I have been to other restaurants and have seen customers have their meal replaced because they didn't like the taste or it wasn't what they expected without being charged. I left the restaurant crying. I will not be coming back. Their Thai Tea is mediocre. I cannot say how good the food is because my husband and I lost our appetite. We took our food to go but ended up throwing it away because we would loose our appetite because of the bad experience that we had. For those that are big on customer service, I would not recommend eating here.
