Here I am again, this time with not so great credit. I filled out an application on the urging of my husband and was bombarded by emails stating to contact at least 5 different people ASAP. I didn't have to because Ed called me on my work phone. For a salesman he was very quiet. I had to ask him if I was approved or not and pry from him how the fresh start program actually worked. He told me I was approved (not for how much though) and I would need $1500 down, 6 references (2 rel. 4 friends), a co-singer, utility bill, paystub, and some other identifying items. Strangely enough there was no mention of a driver's license. I guess that was just an assumption on his part. I asked if they had family vehicles that were not sedans and he seemed confused by this since he asked what I meant by "not sedans". Seemed like a simple enough question, but maybe that's just me. Then he asks "You mean like Suvs?" Bingo killer....anything that's NOT A SEDAN. He assures me they do have these. I asked for his number since I explained it was going to take longer to come up with $1500 than the $500 I put on the app. My husband and I decided it would be more beneficial to use the $1500 to fix the car we currently have. Fast forward to today (6-29) when he calls my house and tells my husband the minimum down they can do is $1000, but now they can work all this magic with the bank on holding this and deferring that. I call Ed back ( I had to ask if that was what he said due to him answering the phone "thisised" all slurred together and he seemed annoyed that I asked if that is what he said) and told him that my husband and I decided against the deal. He said "You're kidding me...he's the one who called me." Really?? I tried to explain to him about my husband but I guess he didn't want to hear it because he hung up on me. Truly a professional this guy Ed. Apparently Ed has issues. Take your meds Ed.....you might actually close a deal next time.

I actually did research on Paul Blanco and read only but bad reviews but I decided to ignore them an give it a try anyways. I shouldn't have done that. They let me leave off the lot with the vehicle they said I could only get approved for. The next day the check engine light came on. The brakes were really bad. I put $1200 down and they wanted another $750.00 in 3 weeks. I drove the vehicle for a full month and then I was told to return the vehicle because it will not pass smog. so I goto return the car and I am being told that my loan was declined an the only car I could get now was an dodge neon because of my income. mind you I bring in $2,000 a month. They gave me back my full down payment. but the offered me a much better vehicle one of those sporty coups. I refused. I went somewhere else and got appoved for a waaaay better car, runs great as well as looks great on the inside an out, do not goto paul planco. they are rude and up to no good. especially the ED guy. dont trust them.
