The Clarion is a fine place to stay while waiting for an early morning flight or a cancelled flight. The food was fine, as was the bar. Staff was pleasant. Hotel was clean.

On arrival the reception desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The guest room was very clean and had everything we needed. We were catching a flight the next day and we were given late check out until 2 pm at no extra charge. Overall experience was excellent and we would certainly stay here again.

One of the greatest places you could ever say near the airport. The staff was very courteous especially Cynthia and Chloe and Jen. The breakfast was excellent Tom and Sam were great also we stay here all the time when we come up to the NASCAR race. Couldn't ask for more friendly staff. Also the renovation they did was great. The rooms were great and clean. I would suggest especially if you're flying out of Detroit Metro to stay here. I just can't say enough about the staff. Even the people who clean the rooms we're very friendly.

They provided exceptional service during my most recent stay. They made me feel welcome, and efficiently checked me in. The hotel has recently been updated, has quiet and clean rooms. It also has several amenities such as breakfast, pool, and rooms with microwaves and refrigerators. I have always been extremely satisfied when I visit.

I had to get a room due to a last-minute cancelled flight and was provided with great service by Kimberly at the front desk who was extremely friendly and helped me quickly get from the airport to the hotel. This hotel is very close to the airport and the staff is welcoming and helpful.

Had to spend 1 night and was,very pleased with this hotel. Clean and quiet rooms. Ondrea, at the front desk, was very pleasant offering an airline discount. The restaurant is open until 11 PM with great food. Airport shuttle, makes it very convenient.

This is a wonderful place just to get away from everything & everyone. I always enjoy my stay. Keep up the good work. God bless!

I tried thjs hotel because I heard that the flight crews stay here.I was not disappointed. We checked in late,very smooth check-in no problems.room was clean.complimentary breakfast was good . They also offered a hot breakfast for $5.95 extra. It was worth the extra cost.. I was able to get the room for lessthan $50 for a 3 star hotel.I have stayed at other low end hotels,This is one of the better hotels in the area for the cost.They also offer a park and fly package for under $75.00 I am going to stay here again and again.

Good, clean room - hotel staff was friendly. Rate were good $53.00 (booked with the Hotel 800 #). Rooms were clean and a good size. Great access to rental car return and airport (5 minutes). Good location and amenities if you are flying out. Detroit downtime about 10-15 minutes

The price was excellent, so it was a great value. If you don't use the safe, make sure they remove the safe fee, which is on the bill by default.

This Clarion Hotel Detroit Metro Airport was a great value. This hotel was very clean, nicely decorated, and conveniently located. The service at this hotel was wonderful. In booking a room before arrival, we reserved a 14 stay and fly package. When we arrived, we told the employee at the desk that we did need the full 14 day package, but needed more than the lower package available of 7 days. This employee was so helpful that she lowered our rate to a lesser package and let us park our car in the hotel parking lot instead of the park and fly lot across the street, paying more, as we had originally booked. Again the service was great. I would highly recommend this hotel for stay and fly and plan to return again. Also-note, I was surprised to see pilots and flight attendants staying at the hotel as well.

Check in and out were easy. Hotel common areas were excellently appointed and inviting with on sight restaurant and bar. Breakfast area was clean, good selection and provided real plates and silverware. The room was clean and had a frig, coffee pot, and microwave. Excellent value and great service. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a room close to the airport. We arrived 11:00 p.m and the front desk asked the hotel restaurant to stay open for another 1/2 hour so we could get dinner.
