Overall
This place was built in 1969....

This place was built in 1969. It is indeed time for some major upgrades.. The model is the leasing office. The 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom is 900 square feet. The price I was quoted over the phone was $579 which includes a $49 fixed water rate. The one bedroom is $499 plus a $49 fixed water rate. And, its about 800 square feet. The apartments are huge and spacious for the price. You pay DTE which isn't high at all. Because, I was a little nervous because I thought the wiring would be really bad. Due, the place being built in 1969. They have alot of closet space. The bedrooms could be a tad bit larger. It has plenty of parking. No assigned parking at all. Sometimes, when your parking your car in the parking lot it feels like you have no privacy. Because, of the way the complex is set up. My only complaints are "THEY NEED TO CUT THE GRASS. AND, IT SHOULD BE CUT ONCE A WEEK." It keeps the community looking nice and well maintained. The stair wells need to be checked and cleaned daily. The doors leading up the stairwells need to be painted and the locks on the doors in the stairwells need to be changed. It looks like someone took something and snatched the lock out. The apartments have no patios. So expect to see people blocking the walkways with their lawn chairs. Which in my opinion is a "Fire Hazard." And, there is no place for kids to play. So, get use to hearing kids screaming and running past your door unsupervised! Some neighbors are a little noisy. Like slamming the door and hollering at the kids. But, its not too bad. You can barely hear anything thru the walls. But, there are alot of good things about these apartments. I have never heard of any car break ins. Even in the apartments I don't think anyone could break into one of them. Because, the was they are set up. Someone would see something. You do get alot of space compared to other places that I've seen in Canton, Westland and Wayne. They are cheaper than most places. No bedbugs either and I've read and heard some horror stories from other aprtment complexes. Maintenace comes and fix things usually pretty fast. Like I said it is an older apartment complex. You make your decison. Alot of places in Canton want darn $710 for a 440 square foot apartment. And, your paying water, DTE, and gas. Its nice to have a break living in the Concorde Club's. And, your not paying for everything. I just hopes it doesn't start getting "Rowdy and Ghetto" with people standing all outside.
