About the course
Designed around its natural terrain, Buffalo Creek has a contemporary classic design which belies an austere test. Annually ranked four stars by Golf Digest, the Tom Weiskopf/Jay Morrish design was developed by Charles Perry, who, from 1976 to 1985, was president and CEO of Jack Nicklaus' Golden Bear International. Ranked consistently in the top five courses in the Dallas area and top 10 in Texas, Buffalo Creek offers everything for the novice and the professional. Holes 6 and 16 have been rated as two of the toughest in the state by the Dallas Morning News. Over the years, Buffalo Creek has played host to the USGA Open, Amateur and Mid-Amateur qualifying events. The Zagat Survey rated Buffalo Creek one of America's Top Golf Courses for 2006-2007.

Located just 30 minutes east of downtown Dallas, Buffalo Creek Golf Club features an array of rolling hills and majestic trees off the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. Measuring 7,018 yards from the back tees, this par-71 course was designed by Jay Morrish and former PGA TOUR player Tom Weiskopf and opened in the summer of 1992. Ranked among the top courses in the Dallas area, this exciting course features Champion Dwarf Bermuda greens and a pleasant variety of practice facilities to help players refine their driving skills and short game.
