Wonderful done sushi and good atmosphere !

I wasn't impressed. The list of their speciality sushi rolls was long and complicated. When we told the server the type of sushi we wanted " not hard all we wanted was sliced Tuna on sticky rice. She directed us back to the list of their speciality sushi rolls. My stir fry was cold. The place was empty and I won't be back either...

I took a friend there again yesterday.You would swear this is a chain, but it's entirely local. The pork stir-fry with ginger is to die for. Tasty, tart salad, excellent stir-fry , top notch presentation! The staff were knowledgable and friendly. I even visited with the owners and came away like family. Five stars! Well done!

We ate at Sushi Nishiki for the first time today and we can definitely recommend this restaurant. The decor is simple but very inviting. Sammi Loo (co-owner) and the wait staff are very friendly and provide excellent service. Our group ordered four different dishes plus the fried banana dessert and all were excellent, including my wife's favorite dish - tempura. The chef even accommodated our request for Odon noodles even it was not on the official menu. There was a slight misunderstanding on one our orders but they didn't make a big deal of it and in fact, did not charge us for that one item. I thought the dinner we had was reasonably priced especially considering how much we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We live very close to Sushi Nishiki and it is always a taste treat to stop there and try something new. We have taken family/friends there and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food and/or the service. It is a great place to dine.

The best Sushi/Sashimi I have had for quite some time. Great decor, and super friendly/helpful staff. Highly recommended, and their bubble teas are great too!

Our first time at this sushi place and the service was good. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. We had 4 different kind of rolls and they were all good although I'm not a big fan of sushi with cream cheese filling. Tuna sashimi was decent. This place is definitely better than the other sushi joint in town. The miso soup was okay. Will have to come back and try other rolls. I was hoping to try bento box lunch but it's only offered on week days.

We ate here on 1-28-09 and the bento box lunches we ordered were awesome. We also tried two sushi rolls, I especially recommend the Golden Temple rolls-the mango sauce added a bit of sweetness. This is the best Sushi in Rochester. The staff were very polite. Definately will go back and have recommended it to others.

having heard mixed (and generally bad) reviews about the other sushi restaurant in Rochester, i was hesitant to try this one out but i am glad that i did!! the sushi is great especially the sushi moriwase platter which lets you sample the different rolls available and the golden flame roll was great--crunchy, a little sweet and delicious.. the restaurant is clean and spacious and the owner takes a personal interest in each customer. the prices too, are very reasonableI would have given this 5 stars except they were out of the friend ice-cream which i was really looking forward to

I love this place. I have been there a few times now. I have tried all the other sushi in town and this is the best. The house roll is to die for! If you are trying Sushi for the first time you have to get it. I also love the Fire Cracker roll and the Tobiko. The entire place is done very well. I love all the colors and the staff could not be nicer. When Sushi is done right you can easily see that it is an art form. It is easy to see that here. I wish them many years here in Rochester.

i went to have a dinner tonight ...and i ordered a burning flame Roll..very deliciousand the services was wonderful..really happy that atlast rochester have a good sushi restaurant.i do not need to drive 1 1/2 hours to minneapolis..so happy keep it up!

Really good food. Love how approachable the chef/owner is to suggestions. The bento lunches are fab too.

Friendly atmosphere, delicious food and very attentive staff.

Waited for too long for a decent sushi place to hit Rochester...and now one is here. Good sushi (had some uni, which was fresh and tasty, which to me is a good litmus test for sushi places). Also has bento lunches, tepanyaki, teriyaki. Reasonably priced.
