Waldorf Kennels

We used Waldorf kennels in the past, and had a great experience. When we recently went out of town, they cared for our German Shepherds and our Cat. Jeff and his team did an outstanding job with our Shepherds, walking them twice a day and letting them run off some energy in their fully fenced & grassy play area - and they even bathed our dogs! One of our dogs is more"spirited" than the other, and also requires medication - they had no issues taking care of him or administering his meds. Our cat was happy as can be, in her own personal "kitty suite". We will gladly use them again, and highly recommend their facility & services!

Just picked up my dog this morning from Waldorf, and very impressed with the staff ! Thank you so much for taking such good care of La Mike, we will be back again !

Adequate, but won't be taking my cat back there again. When I picked her up her cage was wet and full of smeared cat food. Her fur was matted with clumps of litter in it. They did not give her the food I brought for her. And they washed her bed and shrank it.

Very clean and professional and they took great care of my dog while I was out of town. The price was comparable to other boarding kennels in the area.



In response to Baily1980's comment about the fence, the property is adjacent to a chain link fence that restricts all access to the interstate. Looks like this was recently installed.

I have left my dog at this kennel several times, and I just picked her up from her latest stay. The owners are very friendly and greet the dogs with great enthusiasm. Very important for me: the dogs are walked 2 x per day as part of their stay. The dog comes home happy.

The kennel and grounds are clean.

I visited this kennel and was impressed with how clean it was. I did not see any waste on the grounds or play area. I like the design of the kennel built in the 50's with cinder blocks that do seperate the dogs in each kennel to minimize nose to nose contact between dogs. It seemed cool with the cement even though it is not air conditioned just a fan. My main concern was it is very close to I-5 and I shudder to think if a dog got loose or lunged while out on his walk after a cat etc... because there is no fence between the property and the interstate. There is a barb wire farm fence along the interstate that dogs could easily run under if spooked by the noise. I would implore the owner to install a 6ft fence around his kennel for the safety of the dogs. Also there is no one on the premises at night they leave at 5 p.m. and return at 8 a.m. except for an alarm system.
