The mufflet shop is the best shop in the area. They are very honest and trustworthy. I've been going for many years and always been very happy with great service they provide.

I'm usually particular about where I take my vehicles but went here because it was walking distance to my home, even if this one was a beater--albeit with under 100k. They quickly replaced my alternator but I asked them to check out an overheating issue. They pressure tested it and couldn't find a leak--the reservoir held fluid when there.

Four days later--and 3 more containers of coolant--my head gasket blew. It appears the coolant was leaking into the engine somehow from the brown mixture at the rear of the block. Needless to say, I will continue to go out of my way to my usual shops. Vonderlehr for tires, Jackson's Exhaust, North American Transmission, and Automotive Specialty for anything else--mechanics go to this guy.
